Roda Reports reviews, in this issue, on what types of accommodation the village has to offer. The village web site, Roda Online, has pages or links to sixteen different providers of accommodation in the village, allowing customers the luxury of looking before booking!
Self-Catering -
By far the most popular and the most numerous, Roda has plenty of self-catering
provided and also drinks (there may be some limits on imported alcoholic drinks) and ice-creams. Although these hotels can seem to be cost effective for families, many people miss out what the locality has to offer in terms of character
facilities the apartment or studio does provide.
Room Only - Many of the larger estab-lishments in
Roda provide accommodation on a room only basis. Often these are hotels with on-site restaurants. Facilities do vary from the provision of tea making equipment and fridges (often charged locally) to little or nothing.
Bed and Breakfast - This style of holiday booking is often synonymous with “Room Only” as it is generally the larger hotels in the village that provide bed and
breakfast board. Rooms can be simply bedrooms without any fac-ilities for the making of re-freshments but with hotel bars and restaurants.
All Inclusive – there are two hotels within Roda, either by location or by name. The original idea of all inclusive hotels, was to provide security for guests in
and tastes. Some people, while booking an all-inclusive resort hotel will choose to try out a few of the restaurants in the village and are pleased that they have done so, often to return to Roda again in the future but
to alternative accommodation which allows for better value for money.
Whichever type of accommo-dation you re-quire for your
stay in Roda, then it is best to make sure that it has the facilities that you need. Look at Roda Pages on Roda Online to find information about a range of different types of accommodation which Roda has to offer. If you require further information then
